We are seeking a Student Nurse Intern to join our team, working under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. This role is ideal for students pursuing a career in nursing, providing opportunities to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills.
The Student Nurse Intern will assist with patient care, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and basic bedside care. They will also participate in crash cart checks, provide cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, and respond to Code Blue situations.

Responsibilities- Assist with patient care, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and basic bedside care
- Participate in crash cart checks, provide cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, and respond to Code Blue situations
- Collect and record intake and output, weight, height, and vital signs as delegated by the registered nurse
- Document all care provided in the EMR as soon after the care occurs as possible
- Assist with emergency care, including transporting the body to the morgue
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program
- Completion of 3rd semester for ASN students or 4th semester for BSN students
- Concurrent enrollment throughout employment in a BRN-approved Work Study Course through an affiliated school
- Validated Skills Checklist available at all times while working as a SNI
