Asset Protection Operations Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Operations Coach to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our asset protection team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading and developing teams, and ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, assessing economic trends, and overseeing the stocking and rotation of merchandise.
- Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs are successfully resolved.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, hiring, training, and mentoring, assigning duties, and setting clear expectations.
- Control unexplained loss of merchandise, improve profitability, and build accountability for policies and procedures.
- Detect, deter, investigate, and resolve violations of company policies and criminal activities, conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and providing courtroom testimony as needed.
- Monitor safety and risk controls within a facility, ensuring an effective safety program is in place, supervising safety team members, and identifying accident trends to develop and implement solutions.
- Manage facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, and claims and receiving procedures, reviewing the application of policies, procedures, and operational controls.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and identifying and communicating goals and objectives.
- Completion of 2 years of college or 1 year's experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment or 1 year's experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi-department environment.
- Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection, including minimum age, specialized training, certification, and/or licensing.
- Acquisition of a current, state-issued Certificate of Eligibility, if applicable.
- Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training, if applicable.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certification in an asset protection-related field, or General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Sales Volume Category (SVC), and Complex Structure.
