Ascendance Truck Centers is a leading commercial truck sales and leasing dealership seeking experienced Diesel Service Technicians to join our team. As a Diesel Service Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a high level of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient repairs.
  • Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to determine malfunctions and plan work procedures.
  • Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined and properly maintained.
  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure they run smoothly and meet customer expectations.
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Attend training classes and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins to maintain expertise.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 1-year fleet or dealership experience, with a strong understanding of heavy-duty diesel mechanics.
