Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Healthcare Provider Assistant to become a part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, gathering their medical histories, and formulating preliminary diagnoses for both minor and major health concerns. You will also analyze diagnostic tests and reports, interpret findings, and take the necessary time to discuss results and medical evaluations with each patient, while also prescribing treatments or medications under the supervision of a physician. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate bedside manner, experience in medical documentation, and strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough examinations of patients, document all medically relevant information in their records

- Analyze test results, accurately interpret data, and provide diagnostic recommendations based on findings

- Communicate test results and anticipated health outcomes to patients

- Prescribe medications or therapies with physician oversight as part of a comprehensive health strategy

- Collaborate closely with nursing staff, fellow Healthcare Provider Assistants, and Physicians to develop a holistic treatment plan

Qualifications

- Current state licensure is mandatory

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in medical terminology, documentation, and diagnostic testing

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
