Maintain a thorough understanding of Toyota Boshoku's organizational structure, automotive manufacturing processes, company offerings, industry terminology, and operational principles.

Organize, support, and lead social and community engagement initiatives for TBA.

Provide cross-training and support in the absence of HR personnel as necessary. Assist with recruitment, benefits management, onboarding, personnel administration, employee development, and other HR-related tasks as required.


Essential Qualifications:

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.

Experience:
  • A minimum of four (4) years of pertinent experience in a human resources generalist role, particularly in employee relations.
  • Experience in corporate and manufacturing environments is preferred.

Technical Proficiencies:
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Capability to manage multiple departments and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Initiative to undertake assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional independent judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate various projects and programs.
  • Proficient in creating reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
  • Competence in compiling clear and concise visual reports using charts, graphs, and tables.
  • Ability to uphold the appropriate level of professionalism and adherence to corporate culture.
  • Quick and appropriate response to unexpected situations in the workplace.
  • Flexibility to work fixed or rotating shifts, including outside of standard business hours.

Language Proficiency:
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Computer Skills:
  • Solid experience with word processing, spreadsheets, email, databases, desktop publishing, and presentation software, preferably Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with large-scale HRIS and other enterprise systems, with Oracle and Kronos experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS TEAMS is preferred.

Work Environment:

Office:
Open office layout with a moderate noise level.

Plant:
Standard automotive manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection may be necessary in certain areas.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel 0-10% of the time is required. Ability to sit and work on a computer for extended periods is necessary. Capability to travel by both automobile and airplane is essential.
