Position Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to guarantee that our production processes and products adhere to both company standards and industry regulations. This position involves performing regular inspections and monitoring various processes. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional weekends and overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of the facility and equipment prior to production.
  • Execute ATP and Environmental swabbing on machinery.
  • Calibrate temperature measuring devices.
  • Perform allergen testing.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Supervise Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) procedures.
  • Verify the functionality of metal detection systems.
  • Inspect products and production lines for quality assurance.
  • Conduct testing of products for pH, moisture content, and consistency.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a food processing setting.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in meat processing.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
  • HACCP Certification is preferred.
