We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer/Designer to join our team at Passero Associates. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of airfield and municipal project plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, storm water design, quantity takeoffs, technical specifications, and contract documents for airport and municipal projects throughout New York and Vermont.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare conceptual designs, preliminary cost estimates, and permitting documents
  • Develop design documents, construction plans, technical specifications, and engineering reports
  • Perform construction administration services, in office and in the field
Requirements:
  • AAS or BS degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil-related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a civil engineer, designer, or resident engineer
  • Course work in civil/infrastructure design, transportation engineering, water resources, pavement engineering, construction management, and related topics
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Strong communication skills
  • EIT required, PE preferred
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Ability to obtain Airport Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge required, including Federal Background Check (with clear record)
