Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-rinsing, washing, and sanitizing of equipment in accordance with company protocols.
  • Perform visual inspections of sanitation tasks and complete the sanitation checklist after each cleaning session.
  • Collaborate closely with the sanitation manager and quality control technician to address any cleaning issues identified during inspections.
  • Understand and apply cleaning chemicals safely, including proper measurements and application techniques, while utilizing basic math principles for product usage and dilution rates.
  • Prepare the production line and all associated equipment to meet company standards prior to operational runs.
  • Comprehend and adhere to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Follow safety protocols regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Abide by all safety and food safety regulations and procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize baking, batching, and ingredient preparation equipment, including but not limited to pots and pans.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
