Job Summary:

At DIMAR MANUFACTURING, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodial Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Custodial Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, and maintain inventory on all cleaning supplies.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Service, clean, and keep supplies full in all restrooms.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Clean all plant and office areas, and periodically clean light fixtures and ventilation ducts.
  • Waste Management: Empty waste bins from offices and empty trash cans in the plant, and dispose of recycled material.
  • Drinking Fountains: Clean and polish drinking fountains.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of custodial experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Knowledge of proper use of basic cleaning chemicals, ability to follow directions, and perform repetitive tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Machine shop work environment; dust, grease, and metal shavings common.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes/boots required.
  • Work Schedule: Work safely in a fast-paced environment, and work overtime, including weekends as requested.
