About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Addiction and Prevention Services Manager at Coordinated Care Services, Inc. (CCSI). This role will play a critical part in supporting the planning and system transformation of addiction services within Monroe County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support addiction services and programs.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the Community Outreach Team, ensuring effective engagement and education of the behavioral health system.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to promote cross-systems collaboration and coordination.
  • Represent CCSI and Monroe County Office of Mental Health on inter-jurisdictional and multi-agency committees to inform policy development and planning.
  • Develop and maintain a system for tracking Narcan training and distribution, collaborating with the Department of Public Health.
  • Work closely with CCSI leadership to identify and implement departmental priorities, including the strategic plan.
  • Participate in the planning, development, and monitoring of the Local Service Plan as part of the MCOMH Planning Team.
  • Provide direct supervision and strategy to the Community Outreach Team, ensuring data-driven outcomes.
  • Support system transformation through the planning and implementation of NYS OASAS residential redesign model and transition to Medicaid Managed Care.
  • Assess client level of need and make referrals to appropriate community providers as rapidly as possible.
  • Provide data to supervisors for advising Contract Coordinators regarding barriers to immediate access to mental health and substance use services.
  • Leverage access to community resources, including mental health and substance use treatment, Health Home Care Management, and homeless supports.
  • Assist with the development of protocols for access to treatment, care management, and residential services for high-need/high-priority individuals.
  • Implement a system for tracking service slots and monitoring availability/utilization.
  • Implement and oversee a Quality Assurance process, including Special Review for OASAS providers.
  • Promote community voice in decisions regarding care wherever appropriate.
  • Review data regarding access to services and provide feedback to Contract Coordinators and/or Executive Leadership.
  • Support the implementation of NYS OASAS funded programming within Monroe County, aligning with MCOMH values and goals.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree prepared NYS OASAS Qualified Health Professional, CASAC credential preferred or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervision experience.
  • Experience in utilization management and outcome evaluation, familiarity with ARES tracking system.

  • Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Respect the confidential nature of all CCSI and customer information.
