Field Geologist

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. is a leading geotechnical engineering and materials testing consulting firm in the Southeastern U.S. We are seeking an experienced Field Geologist to join our team and contribute to our wide range of hydrogeological, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering projects.

• Plan, prepare for, and perform field activities such as collecting soil, rock, and groundwater samples.
• Oversee well drilling, construction, and testing.
• Perform geophysical surveys.
• Retrieve and research records.
• Conduct surface water discharge measurements and storm event water quality sampling.
• Review and analyze data.

• Technical expertise in geology and hydrogeology.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.
• Good computer skills with experience in presentation software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Internet Explorer.
• Knowledge of Florida geology and hydrogeology.
• Ability to direct field personnel and supervise drillers on projects.
