Job Description

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development and execution of electrical projects across its North American manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement electrical projects in manufacturing facilities, including design upgrades and line control improvements.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide expert advice on electrical matters.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, vendor specifications, and training needs.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code rules and requirements.
  • Monitor and manage project costs to ensure timely completion within budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in plant electrical maintenance, project design, and execution, with progressive responsibility.
  • AutoCAD proficiency at intermediate or advanced level.
  • Experience with power distribution system design and specification, instrumentation and controls system design and specification, and Ethernet IP network systems design and specification.
  • PLC system design, programming, installation, and commissioning experience, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
  • HMI design and integration experience with new and existing installations, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
  • Ethernet VFD control design and implementation experience.
  • Gas Fired Burner controls and temperature control systems experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Development and Management Skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Mentor and coach technical staff and engineers.
