**Job Summary:**

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team as an Electrical Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing electrical projects, troubleshooting electrical issues, designing upgrades, and improving line control processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering.
  • Designing and implementing electrical upgrades and improvements.
  • Ensuring safety standards are met in all electrical projects and activities.
  • Collaborating with vendors to source materials and services.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in progressive responsibility for Plant Electrical Maintenance, Project Design, and Execution, Electrical Department work, or Engineering lead on field projects.
  • Intermediate or advanced level proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience in power distribution system design and specification.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and controls system design and specification.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet IP Network systems design and specification.
  • Proficiency in PLC system design, programming, installation, and commissioning, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
  • Experience in HMI design and integration with new and existing installations, preferably with Allen Bradley systems.
  • Understanding of Ethernet VFD control design and implementation.
  • Experience in gas-fired burner controls and temperature control systems.
  • Project Development and Management Skills:
    • Administrative skills to develop contractor scope of work requirements, material specifications, and take-offs for bid development.
    • On-site contractor management and coordination.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.
    • Mentorship and coaching technical staff and engineers.
    • Understanding and compliance with National Electrical Code rules and requirements.
