Job Title: Multilingual Psychologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist/Neuropsychologist who is proficient in both English and Spanish languages to join our team at the Multicultural Clinical Center. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conducting diagnostic evaluations, performing psychological assessments, and completing immigration evaluations.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments to analyze cognitive abilities, personality traits, emotional well-being, etc.
  • Perform immigration evaluations to assess individuals' psychological and emotional fitness for the immigration process, providing detailed reports in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, counselors, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation of all assessments, evaluations, and treatments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in the field of psychology to enhance clinical knowledge and provide Evidence-Based care.
  • Actively participate in professional development activities and engage in ongoing learning opportunities to continually improve clinical skills.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring best practices for patient care, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as therapists and social workers.
  • Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience in conducting diagnostic, psychological, and immigration evaluations.
  • Current license to practice psychology in the state of Virginia.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to conduct assessments and write reports in both languages.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various psychological assessment tools and diagnostic techniques.
  • Strong interviewing and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and compassion towards clients.
  • Proficient in report writing and record-keeping, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with immigration laws, regulations, and psychological guidelines pertaining to immigration evaluations.
