At Children's Hospital Los Angeles, we provide exceptional care for children and families through our pediatric mental health services.

Our team of experts in pediatric psychology work together to deliver family-centered care, utilizing evidence-based treatments and assessments to address the unique needs of each patient.

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team, providing mental health evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, and families in our department or division's area of focus.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing therapy to a pediatric psychology population, with a strong background in clinical supervision and research.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, and families
  • Conduct psychological and developmental assessments as needed
  • Supervise trainees and provide clinical supervision
  • Participate in staff/supervisor meetings and contribute to the development of teaching and training programs

Requirements:

  • Direct clinical services experience, including evaluations and treatment of patients and families
  • Supervised professional experience providing therapy to a pediatric psychology population
  • Clinical supervision of trainees and clinical and applied research experience highly preferred
  • Knowledge of the various psychosocial aspects of commonly referred medical conditions
  • Experience supervising trainees and conducting psychological and developmental assessments
  • Bilingual competence in Spanish/English highly preferred

Education:

  • Doctoral degree in School, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology
  • License in psychology in California
