We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to lead our Respiratory Program at Ridgeway Post Acute in Petaluma, CA. As a Respiratory Program Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices, assessing and implementing respiratory care plans for residents, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Respiratory Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care plans for residents.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide education and training to staff on respiratory care techniques and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory interventions and make adjustments as necessary.
- Current LVN license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LVN, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Certification in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
