Job Summary
An RCP II is a registered respiratory therapist who provides routine, emergent, and critical respiratory care to patients under the direction of the Respiratory Care Management. This role requires a graduate degree in respiratory therapy and specific training in the area of assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine, emergent, and critical respiratory care to patients.
- Work under the direction of the Respiratory Care Management.
- Meet the requirements for a California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- Hold a National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- Obtain a National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
- Gain experience in an acute respiratory care setting.
