Job Title: Senior Project Manager

At Dexian, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the development and launch of an innovative system for the Cell and Gene Therapy industry.

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will serve as a contributing member within the Transfusion Medicine and Cell Therapies division, focusing on the client Cell and Gene Therapy portfolio. The position reports to the Director of Product Management for Cell and Gene Therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for new product development.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, business development, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure directed resources are effectively utilized, work accordingly to project assumptions and forecasts, and deliver efficient, high-quality work.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among stakeholders throughout the project, including project meeting discussions and weekly status reports.
  • Responsible for communicating project status to all levels of senior management on a regular basis to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to understand project requirements and challenges.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Develop and manage project budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial restraints.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and business development/sales teams to develop go-to-market strategy, launch plans, and update the business case as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree. PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • 5-10 years' experience in cell and gene therapies, biotechnology, medical devices, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a project management role, preferably in a technical environment overseeing a product (device, lab equipment, or other instrumentation) development and launch.
  • Outstanding organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive project success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
