We are seeking a highly skilled DIRECTV Field Service Technician to join our team at Adcomm MDU. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation, repair, and maintenance of DIRECTV services in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs).

The ideal candidate will possess strong independent work skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a deep understanding of cable systems, networking concepts, and telecommunications equipment. You will work both indoors and outdoors, installing and repairing DIRECTV equipment, educating customers on the features and benefits of DIRECTV services, and upholding DIRECTV's reputation as a premier service provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-notch customer service during all phases of DIRECTV system installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Install, upgrade, and repair DIRECTV products in accordance with quality standards.
  • Test DIRECTV satellite dishes and indoor equipment using specialized meters and tools.
  • Replace defective DIRECTV satellite dishes and equipment as needed.
  • Greet customers professionally and ensure installations are completed to their satisfaction.
  • Utilize a DIRECTV meter to peak and align satellite signals.
  • Install coaxial cables and set up DIRECTV receivers.
  • Work at heights to install and service DIRECTV equipment, ensuring all services are fully functional.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in cable installation, telecommunications, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of cable systems, networking concepts, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools for installation and repairs.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Valid driver's license.
