Lease Operations Specialist

Staff Development and Leadership:
As a key member of the Campus Life & Style team, you will provide exceptional customer service to prospects and residents, ensuring all resident requests are handled promptly and professionally. You will create a professional and friendly office environment, consistently maintaining a high standard of management, communication, and reporting.
Property Administration:
You will be responsible for ensuring property management software is accurate and up-to-date at all times, performing lease processing and administration, and other administrative duties as needed. Focus on improving and maintaining the properties' curb appeal and cleanliness.
Financial Performances:
Assist in maintaining occupancy at or above 99% and collections at or above 98% of potential income. Achieve the highest possible net operating income (NOI) through effective cost control, and maintain a positive reputation and relationship with the school and community.
As a Leasing Manager, you will promote harmonious relations among residents, parents, staff, and the surrounding community, while enforcing company policies and standards. Outreach and spend necessary time on campus and at local businesses to promote cross-advertising and positive relationships.
Effectively maintain product knowledge of the property and competitive properties through consistent market research. Ensure the website, listing sites, social media, and marketing materials are up-to-date and portray the property in a positive, professional, and appealing light at all times.
Assist in planning, advertising, and managing resident functions and events. Create partnerships with school and student programs, actively network with student housing professionals in your market, and shop your competitors to develop relationships with other professionals in the field.
A Bachelor's degree or 2-5 years of experience in the student/multi-family housing industry is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as Property Management software (Entrata), is necessary. Working knowledge of market rate and LIHTC programs and Fair Housing Laws and EEO Laws is also required.
You will be the number one Ambassador of the CL&S Culture and Vision within your Community. An entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and a willingness to challenge the status quo to meet the needs of our residents and our company are essential.
Strong skills in hiring and staff development, budgeting, and marketing planning, scheduling, and managing operations are necessary for success in this role.
