The Clinical Assessment Specialist will conduct initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations for clients entering services. Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments detailing the necessity for services using the agency's established templates.
- Collaborate with agency personnel to ensure timely completion of assessments in accordance with program standards.
- Maintain effective communication with all agency staff to guarantee continuity of care concerning treatment objectives and interventions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor, Director of Integrated Outpatient Services, or the Chief Executive Officer.
Qualifications
- Education: A minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related health discipline. Candidates must be provisionally or fully licensed.
- Skills/Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to provide accurate diagnoses and assessments to inform treatment plans.
- Experience: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by state regulations.
Work Environment
General working conditions are typically in office settings, where tasks may include answering phones and utilizing computers and other technology.
Physical RequirementsJob responsibilities may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Minor lifting and moving tasks may be necessary, requiring the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
