Head Chef

At Joao Vaz Restaurant LLC, we seek an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food is prepared and presented to our customers.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Culinary Leadership: Oversee food preparation, inspecting all dishes before presentation to ensure exceptional taste and presentation.
• Staff Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to maintain high standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor equipment quality and order new or replacement items as needed to maintain peak performance.
• Sourcing and Inventory: Collaborate with management to determine optimal food and supply orders, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for new kitchen staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
