Position Overview:
A reputable accounting firm is in search of a skilled tax professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complex tax returns (S-corp, C-corp, Partnership, Individual, Estate, Trust, Gift, etc.) with minimal oversight.
  • Prepare or review payroll and sales/use tax returns on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and profit/loss statements.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on large client engagements, identifying issues, and analyzing tax laws and strategies.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA certification or eligibility.
  • Proficient in researching Federal, State, and Local tax codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with software packages; experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and clients.
