We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nurse Field Assessor to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a registered nurse to utilize their clinical expertise in a home-based setting.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for conducting long-term care insurance assessments, obtaining claimant demographics, physician information, and evaluating the claimant's functional level of independence. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical reasoning and judgment skills, as well as experience with point-of-care technology.
Key Responsibilities- Complete comprehensive assessments, including cognitive screenings and evaluations of ADL and IADL tasks
- Utilize point-of-care technology to document assessment findings in real-time
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessment results
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current, unencumbered RN licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum 2 years of home health experience or 2 years of nursing experience in an equivalent area of practice serving the older adult population
- A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
