Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:

The Guthrie Clinic is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures using computerized tomography (CT) equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT procedures, including initiating scanning procedures, checking prescriptions and patient identification, and explaining procedures to patients.

• Prepare patients for scanning, including immobilizing and centering them on the scanner gantry.

• Operate electronic health records, scan equipment, contrast injectors, and PACS systems.

• Monitor patients' conditions during and after scanning, and be aware of reaction and/or distress signals associated with contrast material injections.

Requirements:

• Associates degree with additional skills training (certification).

• ARRT(R) Certification required unless grandfathered, and ARRT Certification is preferred.

• Advanced certification (ARRT)(CT) preferred.

• Minimum of one year of experience in CT and/or other subspecialty areas.
