Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of equipment and facilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety and good manufacturing practices
  • Train and lead operators, mechanics, and supervisors on technical procedures
  • Develop and implement best practices aligned with Niagara's maintenance strategies
  • Partner with other senior maintenance technicians to resolve cross-functional problems
  • Use available software systems to analyze and identify issues to drive throughput performance
  • Define requirements and lead overhaul efforts to rebuild equipment to like-new status during planned downtime
  • Transfer knowledge to Niagara team members to develop operating and troubleshooting procedures
Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience in an electrical maintenance environment
  • 6 years of experience in a position similar to this role
  • 4 years of experience managing people/projects
  • Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical and instrumentation diagrams
  • Familiarity with all basic hand tools, multi-meter, and PLC hardware
  • Knowledgeable on RSLogix 5000, SIMATIC Step 7, and Factory Talk Studio
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in an electrical maintenance environment
  • 10+ years of experience working in a position similar to this role
  • 6 years of experience managing people/projects
  • 4 years of experience in troubleshooting one of the following operating systems: Allen Bradley (AB), B&R, or Siemens
  • 4 years of experience in an electro-mechanical role with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or other packaging or bottling equipment
