Job Summary:

The Registered Behavior Technician will work under the general direction of the Administrator, providing individualized support and training to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing skills training plans, monitoring behavior, and collecting data on individual progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the supervision, safety, and well-being of individuals at all times.
  • Provide continuous active treatment programs for each individual, including training and service objectives.
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of individual service plans.
  • Monitor and support individuals' health and well-being, reporting observations to the Administrator and/or District Manager.
  • Ensure daily documentation of individual status, behavior, and treatment responses.
  • Participate in the provision and maintenance of a clean, safe, healthful, and nurturing environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician certification.
  • Direct Support Professional I and Direct Support Professional II certificates in accordance with Title 17 Requirements.
  • Current certification of Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training or other regional center approved emergency intervention program.
  • At least two years of experience in a related field working with adults with developmental disabilities.
