We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our Platform Architecture Software Performance Optimization Team. As a key member of our team, you will work on analyzing existing and new workloads to identify performance bottlenecks in hardware and/or software.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze performance challenges on Apple silicon and emerging new usage models
- Work with developers to address performance limitations and deliver recommendations for Apple hardware and software improvements
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify patterns of performance challenges and feed back findings into the silicon and software teams
- Expert background in software engineering, tools, methods, and performance optimization process
- Strong knowledge and experience in AI/ML accelerators, GPU, CPU, SoC architecture, and micro-architecture
- Strong software development skills and proficiency in C/C++ family programming languages and scripting languages such as Python
- Knowledge and experience with AI/ML performance benchmarks and workloads
- Competitive base pay between $175,800 and $312,200
