POSITION SUMMARY:

DICK'S Sporting Goods is on the lookout for a dedicated and people-oriented leader to manage store operations within their designated department.

The Retail Operations Supervisor is tasked with promoting the highest standards of brand and operational excellence throughout the store. This role ensures that our team delivers seamless and engaging customer service to all patrons. Responsibilities include prioritizing team coaching, development, and wellbeing while maintaining a focus on financial metrics, store performance, and both short-term and long-term strategic planning.

  • Oversee the daily operational functions of the assigned store department.
  • Strategically plan and organize both immediate and future operations in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Engage in community recruitment efforts and support initiatives that allow team members to contribute positively to their community.
  • Collaborate with the store leadership team to build a strong, inclusive, and diverse workforce while managing staffing plans, including payroll and scheduling.
  • Ensure team accountability in meeting operational standards, brand expectations, customer service benchmarks, and company policies.
  • Drive loss prevention results by adhering to all safety, loss prevention, and cash management protocols.
  • Communicate transparently and creatively foster an engaging atmosphere for the team.
  • Demonstrate a passion for personal and team development, integrating learning into everyday leadership.
  • Foster an inclusive store environment where all individuals (team members and customers) feel secure, welcomed, and respected.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-3 years of experience in retail management or customer service roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
