Objective / Purpose

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality materials that fulfill customer specifications.

Inspire, guide, educate, and exemplify 7S principles and Code of Conduct standards within the production workforce.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Performance should demonstrate a suitable level of expertise and achievement of the expected outcomes for the responsibilities outlined below.

· Continuous efforts to eliminate the 7 Manufacturing Wastes.

· Direct the team to manufacture quality products, punctually in alignment with the production timetable.

· Lead and engage in trials and customer qualification runs to enhance business opportunities.

· Conduct audits on production, quality, and routine preventive maintenance (start-up and shut-down PM's) to ensure these tasks are executed and recorded accurately.

· Assist in or lead investigations into root causes for Internal and Customer Corrective and Preventive actions.

· Ability to make informed decisions based on factual data.

· Capability to perform all essential functions of Operators & Mixers.

· Ensure all production tasks are executed, documented, and completed to the required standards of safety, thoroughness, accuracy, and punctuality.

· Supervise, mentor, and participate in shift training for all production staff and new recruits.

· Collaborate with laboratory personnel to guarantee timely testing of blend properties and offline assessments.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

· Adhere to all Quality, Safety, and Environmental Procedures.

· Implement the RMA 7S for Success standards in the workspace and all tasks.

· Uphold the Ravago Code of Conduct principles.

· Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Compounding Plant Manager.

Minimum Qualifications / Education / Certifications

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in Manufacturing (plastic industry preferred).

· Proficient in computer data entry and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Strong interpersonal management and problem-solving abilities.

· Detail-oriented with effective prioritization skills.

· Capable of multitasking.

· Possess analytical skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis.

· Self-driven individual.

· Ability to operate a forklift.

Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)

To excel in this role, an individual must demonstrate experience in achieving desired results in their areas of responsibility. The following requirements represent observable behaviors and essential knowledge, skills, and abilities expected of a successful candidate within our organizational culture.

Must be comfortable working in a shared environment with constant noise, with or without a private office. Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled setting. Work schedules may vary weekly based on business needs, potentially exceeding 40 hours with or without prior notice. All injuries, regardless of severity, must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately.

Physical Requirements / Demands
