Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at VocoVision. As a Virtual SLP, you will work with students remotely, providing dynamic virtual therapy services.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Required, obtained from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is a must.
  • Illinois State Licensure: Current licensure or eligibility to practice as a speech-language pathologist in Illinois is required.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL): With an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology, required to work in Illinois schools.
  • Experience: Two years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.

VocoVision Requirements:

  • Insurance: Contractors must obtain professional liability insurance before starting the assignment.

  • 1099 Understanding: This role is strictly as a 1099 contractor, providing flexibility and autonomy in your work.
