Job Summary

Loomis is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Armed Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cash management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cash, coins, and valuables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Drive automatic armored vehicles and other vehicles on designated routes to service customer locations, including ATMs and Smart Safes.
  • Cash Management: Service customer stops, deliver customer change orders, and pick up deposits.
  • Inventory Management: Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins, and count items, record, and sign for cargo items.
Requirements
  • Age and Driving Record: At least 21 years of age and a 3-year driving record.
  • Medical Certification: Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.
  • Firearms Permit: Valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements.
Working Conditions
  • Schedule: Full-time schedule with an average of 40 to 50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days during a 6-day period.
  • Work Environment: Approximately 90-95 percent of work performed in an air-conditioned vehicle within individual compartments.
