As a key member of our team at California Retina Consultants, the Ophthalmic Scribe plays a vital role in supporting our physicians during patient exams and emergency procedures. This role requires strong communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Accurately document patient information, including examination results and treatment plans.
- Assist physicians with patient exams, providing support as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient charts.
- Perform OCT, OCT-A, Fundus Photography, and Microperimetry as needed.
- Knowledge of practice management system, including scheduling and insurance information.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth clinic flow.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
