We are seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join our dedicated team at Community Animal Hospital of Royal Palm Beach. Our hospital has served our community for over 35 years, providing quality veterinary care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and more.

As a veterinary technician, you will be well-utilized and highly valued for your role in our daily operations. We offer a 4-day work week, rotating weekends, and no nights, no on-call shifts, and no emergency shifts.

Responsibilities of the veterinary technician include:

  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples for in-house and offsite testing
  • Assist with radiographs and ultrasounds under the guidance of the attending Veterinarian
  • Set up, monitor, and assist in dental/surgical procedures
  • Prepare and assist in surgeries, including catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring
  • Ensure all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and stored
  • Prepare appointment rooms prior to scheduled patient visits and provide detailed medical notes following visit
  • Answering phones

We are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with clients, is a great team member, and has a good phone presence. Familiarity with Avimark veterinary software is great, but don't worry if you don't - we'll provide training if needed.
