Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PreOp PACU department. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to ensure optimal care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized perianesthesia plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide acute pain and comfort management, as well as administer medications safely and correctly.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects to drive excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • One year of PreOperative or PACU experience required.
  • Medical/surgical nursing experience.
  • Current state licensure to practice within good standing.
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment.
What We Offer
