Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN basis. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents. Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to residents, including bathing, shampoos, and shaving.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, fresh water, and nourishment.
  • Provide comfort and support to residents, including positioning and repositioning patients as needed.
  • Perform vital sign checks and specimen collection as required.
  • Deliver effective orientation and training to new employees.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and colleagues.
  • Transport residents and equipment as needed.
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
  • Report observations and concerns to the nurse in charge.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat, kneel, and reach.
  • Ability to treat residents and their property with dignity and respect.
