About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on 4 South, a 48-bed unit dedicated to ortho/neuro/trauma care. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, utilizing the framework of the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients with orthopedic, neurological, and trauma-related conditions
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Utilize patient/family-centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in ortho/neuro/trauma care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least one year of acute care experience, preferably in ortho/neuro/trauma
