We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Engineer to own the process of developing high-quality solutions, improve the value and quality of delivered solutions, and enhance the potential of our technical team.

As our Lead Front End Engineer, Ecommerce, you will be responsible for evaluating eCommerce products, establishing standards, defining architecture, and ensuring the overall solution's health.

You will teach, mentor, and share knowledge, improve processes, and develop systematic solutions to problem patterns.

This position will be based in Grapevine, Texas.

Responsibilities:


Own platform governance activities, ensuring safe use of commerce cloud resources, reviewing, mitigating, and resolving error logs and performance issues.

Architect digital consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC and React.

Translate functional requirements and high-level solution designs into detailed SFCC technical designs.

Mentor and guide the team by improving commerce cloud platform knowledge, development skills, goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance evaluations.

Perform gap analysis between business requirements and commerce cloud features, designing configurations and customizations to meet requirements.

Employ the use of proofs-of-concept to validate cost estimates and de-risk technical solution delivery.

Identify desired third-party software products and document dependencies between system elements and these packages.

Design solutions for fault-tolerance with appropriate fail-over mechanisms to enable service continuity, gracefully degrade as necessary, and minimize service outages.

Prepare time and cost estimates, identify and mitigate project risks, plan the full project life cycle, and recommend approaches to improve time to market.

Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to commerce implementation, lead a team in resolving priority issues.

Required Skills:

8+ years of experience with Front End or Fullstack Technologies (React experience preferred).

Previous experience as a consultant or developer in SFCC and related technologies.

Build a quality engineering culture (quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, etc.).

Strong knowledge of designing architecture diagrams and data flows.

Knowledge of End-to-End Order Management lifecycle.

Solid experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Solid experience with RESTful Service Architecture, preferred technologies are AWS/EKS/Java/Spring.

Have strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills.

Solid Front-End or Full-Stack development experience.
