The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with undergraduates in newly renovated laboratory facilities that will include a 64-channel EEG and eye-tracking equipment. Primary teaching responsibilities should include courses in clinical/counseling and/or social psychology, as well as other courses in the candidate's area of expertise. In addition, faculty are typically expected to contribute to Introductory Psychology. The full-time course load is three courses per semester. Candidates must have completed a PhD or the equivalent in clinical, counseling, or social psychology or related discipline by time of appointment. Applicants should submit their curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, summary of teaching evaluations, a statement of research interests, graduate transcripts and contact information for three references. Review of applications will begin October 1st and continue until the position is filled. Berea College is nationally recognized as the first coeducational and interracial college in the South.
