About the JobAn Engineer I plays a critical role in assisting with sustaining engineering's current product support issues and validation testing under direct supervision. This includes performing product and design verification tests, assisting with defining test plans and production implementations, and participating in project teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Assisting with sustaining engineering's current product support issues, customer troubleshooting, and validation testing
- Defining test plans and product implementations
- Applying engineering fundamentals to test scenarios, troubleshoot, and analyze tolerances on design
- Quality system and procedure development
- Initiating engineering change requests when needed
- Performing product and design verification tests
- Learning and navigating Badger Meter systems and procedures
- No previous experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Management, otherwise equivalent technical education required
- Blueprint reading skills
- GD&T knowledge (desirable)
- Solid foundation in engineering fundamentals
- Ability to analyze tolerances on a design
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrates strong initiative and motivation
- Demonstrates ability to effectively solve problems
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, with annual bonuses, comprehensive health benefits, and 15 days paid time off plus 11 paid holidays.
