Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Video Production to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in video production, preparing and delivering engaging coursework, and meeting professional standards for faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach video production courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow approved course descriptions and syllabi.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
  • Meet with students, colleagues, and administrators to discuss course content, student progress, and departmental initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and program goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in video production and incorporate this knowledge into teaching and course development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Video Production or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in video production or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Video Production or a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development and program assessment.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard video production software and equipment.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time faculty position, with a variable schedule that may include evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
