Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineer to join our team at System One. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, coordination, and management of highway design efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with all portions of engineering projects
  • Maintain quality standards for all aspects of the projects
  • Provide technical support to lower-level staff as needed
  • Assist with developing and providing oversight for the preparation of scopes, budgets, and schedules for specific tasks of overall projects
  • Supervise staff to complete their assigned tasks
  • Identify project staffing requirements and coordinate staffing with supervisor
  • Maintain company procedures and protocols
  • Assist with all aspects of financials on projects
  • Contribute to design development, review, and management of assignments
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and storm sewer and stormwater management design
  • Check deliverables for technical completeness and compliance with engineering principles, company standards, client contract requirements, and related specifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or better in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 4 years of Civil Engineering experience
  • Driver's License, Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
