Construction Inspector

We are seeking qualified Transportation Inspectors (TCI) and Transportation Construction Inspection Supervisors (TCIS) for our ongoing Highway and bridge projects in South Western Pennsylvania. This work includes Penndot, PA Turnpike, and municipality projects.

• Inspect and document construction activities for Transportation and Civil projects.
• Use computer software programs to document observations and create inspection reports.
• Monitor work to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Interact with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, government agency representatives, and other parties.
• Communicate information, respond to inquiries, and resolve field issues.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications.
• Utilize technical references for the inspection of structural, concrete, earthwork, building, and mechanical components.

• Education: GED or high school diploma required. Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experience: minimum of two years of PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike, or related transportation construction experience.
• Licensure/Certification: NECEPT bituminous and concrete, ACI, NICET Level 2 or higher in Highway Construction, CDS NextGen, KAHUA.

• Experience with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, or related organizations preferred.
• Previous Construction Inspection experience preferred.
• Experience working with CDS NeXtGen and Kahua preferred.
