Job Summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a Middle School SLP. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality speech services to middle school-age students in a large district with great support.

We are looking for a licensed SLP with a passion for providing therapy in schools. If you have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders and a valid MI license through LARA, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student's speech-language abilities to prepare and conduct treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
  • Conduct and analyze assessments to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
  • Develop treatment plans that are strength-based and child and family-centered for overall educational improvement
  • Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with agencies, school district personnel, and families for transition planning and necessary placement
  • Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid MI license through LARA
  • Prior school experience
