Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with middle school-age students in a large district, providing high-quality speech services and supporting their educational growth.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate student speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, following their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop treatment plans that are strength-based, child-centered, and family-focused, aligning with school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with agencies, school district personnel, and families to support transition planning and necessary placement.
  • Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring suspected and identified speech and language delays/disorders.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid Michigan license through LARA.
  • Prior school experience.
