KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide a warm and courteous greeting to customers.
  • Identify, nurture, and manage consumer and business account relationships, focusing on fulfilling customer needs for financial products.
  • Recognize customers with potential for increased profitability and create action plans to enhance these relationships. Refer business to all relevant partners.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns; refer to appropriate internal resources for resolution. Demonstrate integrity, adaptability, commitment to work, and maintain a positive performance in all situations.
  • Engage in continuous training and development.
  • Assist with daily branch operations, including reporting, ATMs, coin machines, and the main cash vault. Help prepare cash for shipments.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all banking systems necessary for performing teller transactions and platform duties, including the use of a PC and calculator as needed.
  • Process a variety of routine and complex transactions, including but not limited to account openings and closings, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
  • Flexibility to travel to other locations/branches within the region and adapt to schedule changes during the workday, including evenings and weekends.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures and apply this knowledge in practical situations.
  • Stay informed about current fraud alerts; identify fraudulent activities to prevent potential losses.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products and services.
  • Participate in weekly branch meetings.
  • Complete daily ATM proof and end-of-day closing procedures.
  • Coordinate specific tasks with other personnel within the branch and with other Bank departments to ensure smooth and efficient information flow.
  • Comply with current laws and organizational policies and procedures. Foster an environment free from harassment and other forms of illegal discrimination in the workplace.
  • Collaborate with and support adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices to promote risk management and the overall safety and soundness of the Bank's compliance with regulatory requirements.
