Mendocino Community Health Clinic is seeking a reliable and dedicated Environmental Services Attendant to join our evening crew. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a germ-free environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Infection Control: Dusting, cleaning of walls, windows, and disinfecting surfaces such as desktops/countertops, copy/fax machines, refrigerators/microwaves, doorknobs, sinks & dispensers, restrooms, and floors.
  • Supporting MCHC Initiatives: Turning off lights in unused areas, recycling, reporting water leaks and running toilets, and supporting energy conservation and social responsibility.
  • Employee and Patient Safety: Tending to spills, preventing workplace injuries by removing or flagging trip hazards, and reporting potential hazards to the Supervisor.
  • Chemical Handling: Handling all chemicals in compliance with specifications and maintaining working knowledge of SDS information and protocols.
  • Physical Tasks: Performing all physical tasks in a safe manner.
  • Confidentiality and Privacy: Maintaining patient and employee confidentiality, and the privacy of agency documents/information.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Complying with all PPE requirements and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year's experience in a healthcare facility or related experience.
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid California Driver's License and be insurable to drive MCHC vehicles.
