Key Responsibilities:

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for implementing effective systems and processes to identify, evaluate, manage, and mitigate construction-related risks:

  1. Preconstruction Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) planning.
  2. Ensuring EHS compliance during construction.
  3. Coordinating construction activities with the Host Site.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining a consistently safe working environment.
  • Leading the construction of a significant pharmaceutical project, overseeing the entire service delivery process.
  • Serving as the primary project liaison, ensuring that project goals are achieved on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Facilitating smooth project operations in alignment with the established project timeline.
  • Collaborating closely with the client’s team and their representatives on-site, including subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Overseeing and organizing construction (and demolition) activities, with a critical role in prequalifying contractors involved in the construction process.

Essential Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
  • Chartered or qualified status with APM, CIOB, or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in construction management within the pharmaceutical sector, specifically on projects exceeding $50 million.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments.
  • Experience with Integrated Project Delivery is preferred.
