Position Title:
Store Associate
Overview:
Engages in sales and customer service activities through the execution of various responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executes sales and customer service tasks.
- Manages cashier duties, maintains stockroom organization, and ensures store cleanliness as required.
- Adheres to company standards for personal sales performance metrics.
Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that must be fulfilled by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Requires standing for approximately 5 – 8 hours daily, typically 3 – 5 days a week.
- During peak sales periods, may work extended hours ranging from 1 – 12 hours a day.
- Involves bending and kneeling to assist customers with merchandise, as well as reaching and pulling to stock items on shelves.
- May necessitate climbing ladders or stairs to stock or retrieve merchandise for sale.
- Regularly required to lift items weighing between 5 – 25 lbs, with occasional heavier weights.
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour. This position is eligible for the company 401k plan.
