Job OverviewThe Registered Nurse - BHS Float position at Avera provides a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and fostering a culture of nursing excellence. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for behavioral health.
Compensation PackageThe hourly range for this position is $32.00 - $46.50 per hour. Additionally, a shift differential of up to $5 per hour is available for weekend nights, providing opportunities for increased earnings. Our competitive pay and benefits package ensure that our nurses are compensated fairly for their expertise and dedication.
Responsibilities and QualificationsThis role requires a graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program, preferably with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota or meeting multi-state licensure requirements is essential. Certification in specialty areas is also desirable. Our ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Average 1 RN for 7-8 patient ratio. Opportunity to experience a variety of inpatient settings. Work with staff from many areas. 100% self-schedule. Student Loan Repayment: This Registered Nurse (RN) position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.
